Being able to share a map with their team and the organization is an essential step to be able to communicate with your team. With the map, leaders can teach their team to use the compass to adapt their progress on the map and find their way.
This frees time for the leader to deal with the group and individual dynamics in the team which inevitably occur in daily life and even more so when change interferes with habits. When the team adapts to change and makes change happen, a natural consequence are insecurities leading into information needs which also bring new questions as well as new expectations towards the leader.
It is a time in which, struggle and frustration can destabilize the strategy put in place, the autonomy of the team members as well as the harmony within the team.
Enabling leadership also means to help the leader learn to deal with these team dynamic. Observation and critical thinking enables his ability s to see the emerging culture in the organization, remain focused on the given orientation and build meaningful relationship with the individual (self) in the organization.
Such an organization is highly performant and follows its values and principles to serve their customers with generosity and above expectations.
